CTC Dance Company are striving to keep theatre alive by offering Schools, Colleges, Communities, and Charities FREE Self-Identity movement-based workshops for young people between 13 - 21.

The workshop will take place at Theatre Peckham, London between 10am - 12pm on Thursday 7th October.

Maximum Number of Participants: 15

These 2-hour- long workshop is designed to:
•      continue the conversation of ‘Mental Health’ and the importance of the LGBTQIA+ community among young people
•      inspire, innovate and educate young people of the importance for personal mental health and the LGBTQIA+ community
•      provide tools and resources for self-development and growth
•      keep physically fit  
•      instil trust and confidence back into our societies

The workshop will be comprised of a 70-minute Movement-Based session, constructed around our show- iNk’d; a 30-minute Question and Answer / discussion about the importance of our mental health & our unique identities; and a 20-minute Guided Meditation- relaxing mind, body and soul. We shall be providing each young person with resource sheets created by mental health organisation: Applause for Thought (@applauseforthought) and LGBTQIA+ Charity Gendered Intelligence.

The unique added bonus to these FREE workshops, is the opportunity for young people to become a part of our cabaret showcase debuting on Tuesday 19th October 2021. If our cabaret will happen online, we shall film each workshop and edit the footage together ready for the Cabaret.
