Trade Mission to the United Kingdom & Europe: Registrant Application
CGLCC is excited to announce a trade mission to the United Kingdom and Europe for Canadian LGBTQ business leaders. This unique opportunity will bring together a group of like-minded individuals for the chance to connect with top industry professionals, explore new business opportunities, and visit major cities such as London, Amsterdam, Brussels, or Vienna.

Even better: We have funding to support your participation in this mission! 

Eligible costs include:
50% Travel Airfare: One round-trip flight, plus connecting flights to Europe (tbd). 
50% Accommodation Per Diem: Budgeted amount is 50% of 400$ per day.
50% Local Transit Costs: Some costs covered 50% by funding
0% Registration Costs: CGLCC registration fee waived (valued at $1200), additional local
registrations TBD but expected to be minimal.

The Mission will be March 2023.

 This mission will be interrupted by a weekend (during which time programming will not occur, but accommodation per diem will still be available).

*The current estimate is that we will be in the UK during the week of March 13th for 3 nights, then travel to 1 or 2 additional European cities. This is not set in stone. *Programming will not take place on weekends, but costs of accommodation/Per Diem will still be covered.

SUBMISSION OF THIS FORM CONSTITUTES AGREEMENT TO CGLCC'S TERMS.  PLEASE CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS AND THAT YOU AGREE. 

Responses will be shared with CGLCC's Trade Mission Partners. Data will be used to determine your company's best-fit for this mission as based on a variety of factors including factors outside your control, such as the likely availability for business to business matches with foreign delegates expected to participate. Data will also be used to garner insights and compile reports on the effectiveness of LGBTQ trade missions, funding allocations, & CGLCC's Global Program. Any sensitive information or personal  identifying details regarding your business and meeting schedule will not be made public without your consent. Please note: completing this registrant application form does not guarantee you access to participate in this Trade Mission, or any other CGLCC related events. The final delegation of attendees will be determined at the sole discretion of CGLCC in consultation with our partners on this mission.  Delegates will be invited based on a variety of criteria, in some cases this criteria may include the order in which they completed this form.

Financial support for this mission is provided via a CanExport grant CGLCC was awarded. As such, your participation in this mission is dependent on your consent to the terms of the grant. Financial support is available for a limited number of delegates and will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis to delegates who have been invited to join the mission as delegates. 

CGLCC reserves the right to cancel any invitation to participate in the Trade Mission (for any reason) should one be extended to you. Participation in the mission will require delegates to participate to the best of their ability in any and all planned programming, receptions, matchmaking events, and cultural events scheduled unless otherwise specified.  Your submission of this form releases CGLCC from any and all liability and or potential loss occurred reasonably or unreasonably as a result of your participation or possible involvement in this mission: including participation or mention at events and or in publications related to this mission or events. Your submission of this form (in part or in full) constitutes an agreement to these terms and acknowledges that CGLCC may revise these terms or request your consent to additional terms in the future.
