PLACE19 is the second annual National Student Planning Conference in Canada and the first to be held in Toronto. This year's conference theme is (re)imagine. The conference will examine the new challenges facing the next generation of Urban Planners and the possibilities for innovative solutions. It will explore creative approaches to the changing ways people live, work, play and learn across Canada. Toronto, as a conference location, will offer diverse opportunities to engage with real examples of reimagining planning.

PLACE19 brings together planning professionals from the public, private and non-profit sector to interact with students so that they can share ideas, consider solutions and learn from each other. PLACE19 offers planning students an unparalleled experience and opportunity to learn.

Sponsorship funds will be allocated towards conference operations, facilities, and student registration fees. Sponsors will receive monthly progress and financial updates on the conference; financial transparency is important to us, and therefore sponsors will know exactly how their money is being spent. Final updates will be sent at the end of October to confirm and assess the success of the conference.
