(fully funded) Social Conflict Transformation Training - First Edition
This is the application form for the training course "Social Grassroots Conflict Transformation", which will take place from 19. to 25. August 2021. in Vienna, Austria, and it will host 25 participants from various backgrounds.

Main eligibility criteria:
- You live in Austria (the training is for both citizens and residents of Austria).
- You are between 18 and 35.
- You can communicate in English (B1/B1+)

Participation rules?
- You are available to participate in the training from 19 to 25 August 2021.
- You can attend at least 80% of the training program.
- You should fill in this application form before Tuseday 10.August.2021, 23:00h.
- You should sign an agreement including all rules and obligations, if selected.
Note: Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis!

This traning is is funded by the "European Youth Foundation" of the Council of Europe.

This is for statistical purposes only and because we are trying to build a very diverse group of people who live in Austria, no matter if they are citizens or residents.

You can also share with us if you are part of an organisation, your website, role, target group, and activities?
2. What is your motivation to participate in this training? What would you like to learn? What can you contribute with to the training? *
We want you to be active participants and contributors, not just consumers of the content. Your answer here will help us to identify how you can add to the training and how we can help you to get the most out of it. Maybe you can organise a relevant workshop for all participants!
3. Please describe a conflict (community problem) relevant to your society, on which you would like to work on during this training. *
It is not a requirement to have previous experience to be selected. During the training, you should however work on concrete case studies from an area of interest in a team and we are therefore very interested in which conflict situation you would like to work upon. Please think of local community conflicts, these can be civic, social, political, economic, or other types of conflicts that concern you. For example, it can be (1) the argument about a new refugee facility in the neighbourhood, (2) discussions about access to health care and public services, (3) tensions between different ethnic groups living in the same area, (4) debates about women participation in the political landscape in a certain country, (5) legalization about the amount of allowed working hours per day in certain professions, (6) issues of migration, integration and inclusion, (7) green and climate-friendly places for work and living, or (8) public places and leisure space for young people, ...etc.!
Participation in the whole training is for free. Everything is funded by the Council of Europe and the European Youth Foundation. We as an organisation are responsible for the management and conduction of the training and ensuring its quality and ensuring the number of participants and their commitment and full participation. Therefore, all selected participants will have to sign an agreement that entails all the details and rules, including cancellation or dropping out rules and obligations. *
