Dear friend of the hearX Foundation! At hearX we always use Mandela Day to get together, go into the community and make a difference as a team. Unfortunately, an in-person event won't be possible this year - so we would like to invite you to join our virtual #MandelaDay2020 initiative. The country-wide theme this year is #ActionAgainstPoverty.

We are aiming to reach 67 pledges to make an impact in the community of Mbekweni (Paarl) where the hearX Foundation runs a hearing and vision screening programme for preschoolers.

So what does a pledge entail? Each pledge equals R100 and will enable us to provide 4 children with a nutritious meal (in partnership with Gratefulness Community Soup Kitchen) and to train 1 teacher regarding the importance of healthy hearing for healthy learning (through our exciting new WhatsApp-based training programme).

We fully understand that it is tough times - so there is absolutely no obligation (ps. see the option below to add your positive vibes and virtual high-5!). Pledges will remain anonymous.
