Do you know a business or organization in the Golden Isles that deserves special recognition? As part of Ujamaa BWK 2024, we are honoring outstanding, Black-led businesses and organizations in our community with awards in several categories.

Please use this form to nominate a business or organization that embodies resilience, leadership, growth, or community impact. Choose the award that best reflects their achievements, and tell us why they deserve to be recognized. Nominations are open to the community, and each form submission is limited to one business per award category.

The Legacy Award

This award honors a business or organization that has been established for more than 20 years and continues to operate successfully. The recipient is a beacon of resilience, demonstrating the ability to evolve and remain relevant while serving the community with unwavering dedication.

The Trailblazer Award

Awarded to a business or organization that has paved the way for others, this honor recognizes innovation and leadership in the Black business community. The recipient has not only succeeded but has also opened doors for future entrepreneurs by setting new standards, creating opportunities, or inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.

The Rising Star Award

This award highlights a business or organization established within the last five years that is making rapid progress and achieving significant growth. The recipient has shown outstanding potential and is already making a meaningful impact within the community.

The Woman of Impact Award

This award honors an outstanding woman-owned business that exemplifies leadership, innovation, and community impact. The recipient is a trailblazer who inspires others through her entrepreneurial journey, uplifts her community, and demonstrates resilience and excellence in her field.

The Heart of the Community Award

This award recognizes a business or organization that demonstrates philanthropic leadership and actively contributes to the community through charitable work, volunteerism, or other forms of giving back. The recipient leads by example in service to others and is dedicated to creating a positive social impact.
