If you have stewarded for us before, thank you, and welcome back! If you haven’t previously stewarded at Chester Folk Festival, we hope you will decide to join our team of dedicated volunteers. Stewards are a vital part of our organisation; they handle a huge variety of tasks and without them the festival simply couldn’t happen.

Terms & Conditions
You must be aged 18 years or older on or before 24th  May 2024

You will be given a weekend ticket in return for up to 12 hours work over the weekend.
You can volunteer for less than the full weekend in which case we make your hours a reasonable proportion of the time you’re going to be there.

If you have specific requests then please tell us in advance and we’ll see what we can do.  However, please be aware that to make the Festival work all required shifts need to be covered.

You are required to be vigilant and conscious of health and safety at all times when on duty.

You must co-operate with the festival organisers at all times.

Stewards should not be accompanied by children, other dependents or dogs whilst on duty .

You must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other intoxicating substance whilst on duty.
