Dear Parents,
Believe it or not, it is
already time to begin preparing for the upcoming school year! Although I’m sure
that you’ve heard all about Derech HaTorah, if you haven’t visited us yet, the
best way to experience Derech HaTorah is in person. Unless you see our classes
in action, it’s hard to adequately convey the high standards, truly caring
faculty and happy atmosphere that are clearly evident when you visit DHR. If
you already have a child at DHR, you know what I’m talking about. If not, we
would be delighted to give you a VIP tour!
Why do we start this process
in the spring? We have found that it is incredibly difficult to hire teachers,
order textbooks, finalize the number of classrooms needed and buy supplies
without knowing how many students will be in each class. Please assist DHR (and ultimately, your
child) in ensuring a smooth planning process.
In order for us to plan accurately for the 2023-2024 school year, please
return the attached form and registration fee by March 24, 2023.
As you've probably heard,
our new $7,000 New Family Maximum Tuition Promotion is live! We understand the difficulties that many families face
in paying tuition. This burden can be even more difficult for large families
and/or families adjusting to a new city. To help ease the transition of new
families to Rochester, we have a fantastic offer! Families that move to
Rochester and enroll their children in Derech HaTorah will pay a maximum of
only $7,000 per year in tuition for all of their children attending DHR for as
long as they attend the school!
What about current, local
families that moved here in previous years and whose children already attend
DHR? We are thrilled that you are here in Rochester and this offer is for you: Current
DHR families will be required to pay only $10,000 per year for all of their
children! This offer will be available for all local families and we hope
that it will be successful and that we can continue to offer it in future
years! For more details about tuition, please visit DHR’s website or
www.torahrochester.com.
Please note: Parents’ inability to pay full tuition is not
a factor in the admissions process. Scholarships will be awarded based on
financial need. Upon receipt of the
admissions form and registration fee, we will contact those applying for
scholarships and begin the process. Derech HaTorah of Rochester admits Jewish
students whose parents desire a superior, balanced Judaic and general studies
education for their children. We do not
discriminate on the basis of race, gender, color and national or ethnic origin
in administration of our educational policies, admission policies, scholarships
or other school-sponsored programs.
We are eager to make the
admissions process as easy and as painless as possible. If you have any questions, please do not
hesitate to call or e-mail me at (585) 266-2920 or principal@derechhatorah.org.
Sincerely,
Lea E. Goldstein
Principal
