I understand and agree to the amount of time and financial requirements for membership and commit to attend ALL rehearsals, performances and other events as required. I know that missing rehearsals and/or performances may warrant removal from future performances or the ensemble without refund of fees. *
I understand and agree to the student leadership structure and will comply with all reasonable and appropriate directions that may be given. *
I understand and agree that membership in marching band is voluntary, extracurricular, and contingent upon my fulfillment of the attendance, behavior, and monetary requirements set forth by the organization. Failure to meet these may result in removal from the program with no refund of fees. *
I understand and agree that the total commitment fee is $500 associated with each member. We do offer a “multiple child” reduced rate fee, which is full price for the first child and $400 for each additional child, for those families that have 2 or more siblings participating simultaneously in the marching band. The non-refundable deposit will remain the same at $200 per student. Payments of $200 each are due June 30th. *
MOUNT PLEASANT BAND STUDENTS/FAMILIES:  I understand and agree there is a $200 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit due Thursday, June 6th, 2024. All fees must be paid in full by August 2nd, 2024.  If a student drops out prior to band camp, no refunds of money paid to that point will be given as we encumber these funds to order necessary materials. Students who drop out prior to band camp will still owe up to what fees were due prior to the point they dropped out.  If a student decides to drop out after the official start of band camp (based on the plans discussed in our interest meeting), all band fees ($500) will still be owed by that student and their family due to items already having been purchased with that student's participation in mind.  Request to drop out must be submitted to Mr. Lee at keith.lee@cabarrus.k12.nc.us.  The date the e-mail is received will be what is utilized to determine what the student still owes in fees to the point of dropping out.  All delinquent fees will be turned in to the main office of the school and held against the student until fully paid.  If I require additional time, I will contact the Band Director, Band Booster President or Treasurer as soon as possible. Fundraising money earned during the summer may be applied to the commitment fee.

CENTRAL CABARRUS BAND STUDENTS/FAMILIES:  I understand and agree there is a $200 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit due Saturday, May 4th, 2024. All fees must be paid in full by July 12th, 2024.  I understand that there is an established payment schedule of all fees notated in the band handbook and will turn in fees according to the schedule set forth by Mr. Adams and the Central Cabarrus Band Boosters.  Request to drop out must be submitted to Mr. Adams at joshua.adams@cabarrus.k12.nc.us.  The date the e-mail is received will be what is utilized to determine what the student still owes in fees to the point of dropping out.  All delinquent fees will be turned in to the main office of the school and held against the student until fully paid.  If I require additional time, I will contact the Band Director, Band Booster President or Treasurer as soon as possible. Fundraising money earned during the summer may be applied to the commitment fee.

As a member of the MP Marching Band, I understand that I am eligible to travel with the band to Washington, D.C. to participate in the National Memorial Day Parade, which is a very high honor to be invited to.  This trip is slotted to be 23-26 May 2025 (adjustments may be made due to graduation, etc.).  I understand that this is an "extra" that is offered to marching band students (not a required trip).  This trip is not part of the $500 fee to participate in the fall marching band (it will be an extra cost).  In order to be able to attend this trip, I know I must be a member in good standing with the MP Marching Band.  I understand that costs will be determined based off of how many we have interested in attending and the amount of days/nights we are there.  I am very interested in going on this trip with the MP Marching Band. *
