BACKGROUND CHECKS: Little League® requires ALL individuals who provide regular service to and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players or teams to submit a volunteer application and undergo an annual background check prior to assuming any duties. All volunteers for our tournaments qualify under this regulation.

Any person whose background check reveals a conviction, guilty plea, no contest plea, or admission to any crime involving or against a minor or minors, is prohibited from participating as a volunteer with Little League®.

COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS: As the pandemic continues to impact the world, we are committed to providing safe working conditions at all of our locations. We adhere to CDC, state, and local guidance with regard to COVID-19. In order to work onsite at any of the Little League Regional Tournaments and World Series events in certain areas that have contact with the participants, you may need to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

We plan to provide additional information about the event, roles, and responsibilities and hold a volunteer training session prior to the 2021 Little League Softball World Series.
