Of course it's great to have the skill to smoothly take over from the previous partner without the birthday bunny having to interrupt their dance, but it can be tremendous fun at a social to suddenly find yourself "stolen" and dancing with a different partner without expecting it. It becomes even more fun when your original partner tries to steal you back again! A hilarious game can ensue if they also know how to block each other (not to mention that to the "stolen" one it can feel as a great compliment)!
