Do you want to get more involved to make positive changes for Oregon music therapists? Serving on a committee or as a board member of the Oregon Association for Music Therapy (OAMT) is a great place to start!

Members of OAMT are welcome to nominate themselves or someone else for a board position for in 2024. Check out the OAMT Board Position descriptions on our website or at this link. Elections for board positions will be held at our state conference on February 4th, 2024.

Below are a list of the OAMT committees open to general members to serve on:

Peer Support Group
Workforce Retention (EMBER)
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access (DEIA)
Global Outreach
Funding and Reimbursement

Please submit all nominations or committee interest by Saturday, February 3rd. An OAMT board member will reach out to those nominated for board positions to confirm their eligibility. Members interested in serving on committees will be contacted after the 2023 board is elected in February.
