T&P 2019 Work Exchange Application
We appreciate your interest!  Please read thoroughly, as the work-exchange positions are truly essential to the festival’s design and help make attending possible for beloved members of our community.

Please note: Helpers will primarily be assisting with meal prep and working in the kitchen. Kitchen helpers will be unable to participate in one or more sessions during the festival. Please be sure you are willing to commit to this before moving forward. Working in the kitchen will require you to wear closed-toes shoes and comply with all sanitary requirements. Our chef will orient you and we expect you'll comply with any instructions given by kitchen leads.

Available shifts (and things to consider):
Breakfast prep (quite early)
Late morning lunch prep (conflicts with intensive session)
Dinner prep (conflicts with afternoon session)
Late-night kitchen clean shift each day for a night-owl
A few other positions might be available, such as set up. If you have an specific talent/deal please make a note of it.

We're offering $15/hour payed back to you at the end of the event according to your logged hours up to the cost of the event. Work Exchange requests are pending until registration has been fully  processed and you received your WE confirmation.

Deadline to apply is July 1. Preference will be given to those who apply and commit first.

We will do our best to accommodate everyone’s preferences, and will try to allocate hours accordingly. Organizing the distribution of work-exchange hours can be a challenging task, and your cooperation is essential. It’s likely we will not be able to accommodate everyone's desired hours, but we'll do our best to make it work for everyone's financial needs.

Everyone in the festival is affected if the work exchange people change their minds after committing, don't show up, or are late for their shifts - so we ask for each person to be honest about what they can commit to and follow up on the application & work responsibilities with grace - and joy!

Suggested maximum hours are:
Dorm      21
Camping    18
Commuter  13

Helpers will receive their final work schedule via email or during the Work-Exchange Orientation Meeting on July 9th.
