Who do you think you are?
What makes you think you’re so special?
I feel disappointed in myself for not being good enough.
I feel embarrassed that I’m not making it.
I feel tearful that however hard I try I feel useless underneath.
I smile and congratulate others on their success while inside I cringe with my lack of it.
I feel low and unimportant.
I feel powerless to change things for the better.
Why can’t I shake myself out of it?
I’m not good enough.
Maybe I’m not supposed to be successful?
I apply to do something and then back out when I get offered a place.
It’s just no use trying!
I don’t have what it takes!
No matter what I do I just don’t feel good enough.
I’m just no good.
If they find out I’m a fraud I’ll lose everything!
I’ll never get it right!
I’ve really had it!
If only I was smarter!
I’m so stupid!
I just can’t do it!
What will people think of me if they find out?
I wish I could disappear!
I avoid award giving occasions as it’s just too painful.
I’m out of their league!
I might as well give up!
I feel frustration that I just can’t make it.
I’m not smart enough!
I don’t have the right qualifications!
I feel such a failure!
I only apply for jobs or projects well within my capacity or at a lower level.
I don’t apply for anything that might show me up.
I’m such a failure!
I screw everything up!
I’m too uptight!
I know I’m being being hard on myself.
I beat myself up with negative criticism when I think I didn’t do well.
I’m terrified that I’ll get caught out.
I’m terrified that if people really knew what I am my world will fall apart.
I destroy everything I touch.
Who would want me!
I’m never going to be good at this no matter how I try.
How much I like myself depends on how much other people like me.
I feel broken…
