The ECA is offering a five-day online Zoom course for anyone wishing to complete their ORHVS (Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems US 242766) training.
This is an EWSETA (NQF Level 4) accredited course run in partnership with MTW Training. The candidate needs to attain 80% in the final test to pass the course, upon completion and submission of relevant documentation, the candidate will receive a certificate which is valid for three years.
Cost: The cost of the course has been reduced to R7 150.00 for members and R7 700.00 for non-members.
Course material: Course material is included in the price and will be emailed/couriered to all students as required.
Class hours: The class will start at 9 am and finish at 4 pm with a one-hour break for lunch.
Booking date: Payment should reach your regional administrator by no later than 17 April 2021
Early booking is advised as only 10 candidates can be accommodated per class.

Module 11: Commissioning and testing of apparatus
Module 12: Prepare for live work

Zoom is free to download: https://zoom.us/download and is relatively easy to setup, however, you will be given clear guidelines on how to do this.
To attend the Zoom course, you will need to register and sign in and then use the link provided by the ECA(SA) to attend the course.
