Forests and Fire Management
Apr 22 (Fri)  7 to 8:30 p.m.

Join Madison Poe, fire suppression technician with the US Forest Service and former Harris Center intern, for a discussion on fire management in forested ecosystems. Drawing from her experience working on wildland fire crews in the Midwest and western states, Madison will review wildfire trends and what they mean for our forests, the dangers and benefits of fire in our landscape, and regional approaches to fire management. 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Harris Center.
