Salem Capital Pride is leading it's a hike/nature walk as part of its new Community Programs Series.

This month's location will be at Champoeg State Heritage Area:

We will meet at the Champoeg State Heritage Area at 10 am on Saturday, May 27. There are two hike options for the day, one is a 2.5 mile loop with a mix of paved and unpaved paths with some slight ups and down, though overall an easy hike; this is also the option to do an additional 5 mile hike (2.5 miles out then back the 2.5 miles). The extended trail is paved to the historic ferry landing with 450 feet of elevation gain. If you would like to participate in our carpooling program, we will reach out to you with what time we will pick you up before then so we can all arrive at about the same time. Even if you are not participating in the carpool program, please fill out this form so we can know who to expect.
