Mentors and Volunteers Sign Up  -HVTechFest Hackathon: October 29-30, 2021

We’re very excited to announce our second virtual hackathon, HVTechFest III, on October 29-30, 2021, starting at 2pm Friday and ending at 6pm Saturday with a variety of participants from schools, universities, companies, startups etc. as well as individuals.

We are calling for:
- mentors: time commitment is Saturday 11am-2pm. You will reply to ad hoc questions from the teams and provide guidance with their problem-solution fit / pitch deck / prototype
- IT / developers volunteers: time commitment is Friday 3pm - Saturday 6pm. You will become part of a team creating a digital artifacts or prototypes, and provide professional support with empathy.
- general volunteers: Let us know your availability on Friday and Saturday - we welcome your support, e.g., for taking registrations

Our signature HVTechFest Youth Hackathon 2021 will :
- Use hi-tech and low-tech functions to solve the public problems;
- Team professionals together with youth to build a digital artifact or prototype
- Gain entrepreneurial spirit while introducing collaborative ways of problem solving

While the theme of the HVTechFest 2021 is Digital Collaboration: bridge to the Future, we will use Open Data and GIS for Social Good challenge, but we welcome all challenges and ideas.

Due to venue restrictions and safety as our top priority, the Hackathon'21 will use remote-first hybrid model. We are looking for
- mentors in tech, startup world (Saturday, Oct 30th)
- volunteers (specific tasks will be assigned in September-October timeframe based on your skills and availability)
