Registration for PSBcreative's Summer Camp - Beauty and the Beast Jr.
  • Location:  Area high school theatre.  We have yet to be permitted to post the location here. As of now, our camp and performances will be held at the location mentioned previously.

  • Dates: June 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29

  • Times: 8:30 am to 4 pm (8:30 to 12 noon on 6/29)

  • 3 Performances: June 29 and 30 at 6:30 pm, July 1 at 2 pm. Admission will be $10.

  • Ages: Rising 4th through 9th graders, 16 years old or younger at camp time.

  • Cost: $400.00 per participant.  $350.00 each for two siblings.

  • ALL participants are expected to attend all sessions.  Before registering, please clear your participants' schedules so they can fully attend each of our sessions.  To prepare a show like this in 7 and a half sessions is a HUGE undertaking.  Allowing planned absences would not be fair to the cast or crew and would have a negative impact on the quality of our production.

  • ALL performers MUST submit a video audition.    Visit www.psbcreativearts.com and under the PROGRAMS tab, click on Auditions for Summer Camp 2023.

  • We will also have limited openings for stage crew and production team positions—great opportunities for older students.

Registration:

  • Registration ends on May 20 or when we reach capacity, whichever occurs first.  Once we reach capacity, we cannot accept any more students even if a completed registration form and or payment is submitted.

  • Please only register your child after reading, understanding, and agreeing to the outlined details here.

  • This will be a very challenging program.

Payment:

  • $400.00 per participant.  $350 each for two siblings.

  • Must be paid by May 20. Your student is not registered until we have received payment and completed registration.

  • Payment will be made via Venmo (@PSBcreative), or checks can be mailed to PSBcreative, PO Box 443, Marietta, GA, 30061- 0443.

  • This participation fee includes the instruction at all camp days, three performances, 1 t-shirt, and one student script.

Auditions:

  • Auditions to be in the cast of our upcoming musical will be on FlipGRID!

  • All performers MUST submit a video audition by May 20.

  • Auditions will consist of recording a video with introductions, acting, and singing.

  • Additional audition information for specific roles can be found at:https://www.mtishows.com/disneys-beauty-and-the-beast-jr

  • Click on the SONGS and AUDITION CENTRAL drop-down menus.

  • Casting will be announced on Saturday, May 27.  What to bring every day:

  • A bagged lunch and snacks.  Do not come to camp on an empty stomach.

  • Water bottle.  Staying hydrated throughout these challenging (but very fun) days is important!

  • Your script (which we will provide).  You are expected to come prepared with your lines and music well learned.

  • Comfortable clothes, sneakers, deodorant, etc., as necessary.  You will be moving and on your feet throughout the day!

  • A towel to sit on during lunch and hand sanitizer.

  • Your best attitude and enough energy to actively and cooperatively participate throughout the day!

  • Please label all your belongings.

Volunteers:

  • To produce a show like this in less than two weeks is a huge undertaking, and we will need your help.

  • We will have opportunities for family members to volunteer—more details to come.
