Youth in Europe: Online Training Course
"Youth in Europe" is a European Project that aims at raising awareness among youth leaders and young people on the importance of education on European citizenship, with special emphasis on the principles, values and functioning of the European Union, as a basis for democratic construction and active civic participation.
It is a project that involves five organisations from five European Union countries (Croatia, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania and Spain).

Within the framework of this project, we have created an ONLINE TRAINING COURSE, totally free of charge, aimed mainly at young leaders and young people between 16 and 30 years old, although it is open to anyone who wishes to do it.

Through this Course we want to improve youth leaders' knowledge and understanding of the history, symbols, institutions and policies of the European Union.
The Online Training Course is divided into five modules:
1. History of the European Union's integration
2. Values and symbols of the EU 
3. EU institutions and their functioning
4. Policies and programmes
5. Active youth participation

The language of the Training Course is English.

On Tuesday, February 6, we have a first online session to present the participants from all countries and the online learning platform. The meeting will take place at 6:00 pm CET (Spain and Italy time), 5:00 pm Ireland time and 7:00 pm Lithuania time. From then on, you will be able to access and follow the course at any time until the 1st of April, although all the organisations will be available to solve any doubt or question about the contents. At the end of the course, a face-to-face meeting will be held in each country for the evaluation of the competences acquired.
