Classes will be held in a "virtual" experience.  There may be some "limited" in person training dependent upon County and State Ordinances.  Students must have reliable access to the internet, a good external microphone, web camera, and device such as laptop, desktop or tablet.

Program Cost:  $350.00 . Due in full by June 8, 2020 - processing fee & payment plan fees apply.  If you are in need of financial assistance due to COVID-19 PLEASE contact our office info@hyoc.org

What does Program Include?  Instruction in Stage Craft, Drama, Vocal Technique, Movement, Dance, Musicianship, Audition skills, creation of props and costumes.   Classes will be held via Zoom or Google Classroom or some similar tool.  Students will be asked to submit video recordings of themselves for the final performance.  Opera presented is based on a Hawaiian Legend from Hawaii Island entitled "La`ieikawai: Princess of Paliuli" composed by Dr. Neil McKay.  This summer is the 25th Anniversary of this youth opera debut.  Students will perform ALL roles and participate in ensemble and solo work.

It is very important that ALL Students commit to the full 3 week daily experience.  This is a very intense program and there is a lot to accomplish in 3 very short weeks.  Missing even an hour puts a student behind and therefore has a negative impact on the entire program and final production value.  Make sure to adjust your schedules to allow your FULL participation.

Final production/showing/viewing will be a "virtual presentation" date pending.

Please complete and submit your information as soon as possible, but no later than June 1.

There is a $10.00 non refundable enrollment fee which will be applied to your tuition should you choose to participate in this summer's program.  Please Mail check to:  HYOC P.O. Box 22304, Honolulu, HI 96823

You can pay either by check, cash or credit card.  Your enrollment application will be confirmed when your $10.00 enrollment fee is received by our office.  After your completed enrollment web form and fee is received:  you may expect an email confirming, your acceptance into the summer program.
