Since this is a large project we have a few requirements for interested team members
* Be an engaged contributor at the meetings
* Follow through on assignments outside of meetings
* Each semester (half year) you are allowed 2 unexcused absences (an unexcused absence is when you don’t show up to a meeting and also don’t notify an AXP or BRS lead, 1 day or more is preferred)
* Excused absences are of course allowed! If it’s a family event, something you’ve already scheduled, or just a really busy time of the year - We all understand that, just make sure you notify one of the BRS or AXP leads before the meeting
* Since this is a big project where we discuss important updates at meetings, our goal for each of you to make at least 70% of the meetings

I can meet these goals for the upcoming year.

We divide up responsibilities and the type of work among three design teams
1. Mechanical Subteam
* Using CAD (Computer assisted design) to run simulations
* Learning how different physical things interact with each other (Ex: What type of bolts need to be used so they don’t explode in space)
* Working with Special Systems Subteam to design CubeSat solar array

2. Electrical Subteam -
* Programming
* Planning, designing, and testing circuits
* Designing custom PCBs (printed circuit boards - little green things with holes and electrical things on them)

3. Special Systems Subteam -
* Perovskite solar cell focused and thermal focused research
* Designing testing to validate proper encapsulation
* Working with Mechanical Subteam to design CubeSat solar array
