We know everyone is excited for the season ahead, so we are starting to plan courses and instructor leaders! At the moment there are still several COVID restrictions and details to be workout out by the government and LSV.

At stage it looks like we can run a normal Bronze/Silver Camp, regular SRC course, IRB camps and FA/ART courses through the summer. As such we will need an abundance of help.


INSTRUCTORS: We will be looking for 20-30 enthusiastic instructors to get involved on lifesaving camp and/or non-residential post-Christmas Bronze and Advanced Award programs.

SRC

INSTRUCTORS: Please let us know if you would like to be an SRC course coordinator or leader! We are looking for 10-15 people to contribute to the SRC program (especially people interested in Lifesaving Camp leadership opportunities). This is a great chance for newer instructors to gain experience and develop leadership skills.

IRBD
We have a lot of interest in IRBD this year, so we are hoping to run two IRBD courses with up to 8 candidates per course:
1.  Over the two weekends leading into Lifesaving Camp (Sat 4th, Sun 5th, Sat 11th and Sun 12th December 2021).
2. The usual time of Easter Weekend 2022.

IRBC
Dates pending - will be based on candidate expressions of interest. Aiming for two post-Christmas courses (likely mid-late Jan and Labour Day public holiday weekend in March 2022).

INSTRUCTORS:
There is no pressure to commit to a whole course - we will need a range of instructors to assist throughout each course for a half or full day. Please let us know if you are interested and we will timetable instructors closer to the date based on availability.
