Membership is a promise and a commitment, and it comes with different responsibilities. Membership says you have moved
from being a friend in our community and receiving its gifts,
to a member committed to our mission who will both give and receive its gifts. By submitting this application, we know you have discerned that you are ready to make a promise and commitment to this community by giving of your time, talent, and/or treasure, participating in annual meetings, and voting on important matters of our First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton (FUUSN).

According to the bylaws at FUUSN, the Board of Trustees must vote on every application for membership. This application is the first step - once approved, you will be invited to share more about yourself and sign our membership book which is an important ritual taking place in an upcoming worship service.
