Trim a Tree for your club!

Rules for Decorating A Tree for the Christmas Village Trim a Tree Silent Auction

1) 6' Artificial Tree will be provided 

2) Clubs, Organizations, or businesses will provide lights and decorations

     a. All decorations, lights, and trim must be tied securely to the tree. Twist ties or floral wire works well.

     b. All ornaments must be shatter proof 

     c. Ornament caps must be glued to the ornament. Hot glue works well. It is recommended that glue be                      applied to caps prior to tree decorating. 

     d. Requirement - all trees will need to have lights 

    e. Any extra items that go with the tree need to be secured, so they don't disappear. 

    f. We encourage you to choose any theme, but artistic creativity and imagination should always take                        precedence over theme. 

    g. Trees should appeal to a broad audience and should be appropriate for any home or business. 

 3) Trees will need to be decorated and in place by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15. 

 4) Trees can be picked up or decorated in place. 

     a. Trees that are being decorated off site can be picked up starting Dec. 1  

      b. Trees decorated on site can start on Wednesday, Dec. 13

 5) Electricity will be provided 

 6) Tree location will be in the First Bank and Trust Barn 

 7) Silent Auction will begin on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and end Sunday at 7:00 p.m.  

     a. Checks and Cash will be paid directly to club, organization or business 

      b. Trees will need to be picked up on Sunday from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. 

     c. Representation from your club, organization or business should be at your tree at all time

  8) Create a display card (poster board size) with your club, organization or business information
