Request an Early Course Feedback Session
Interested in collecting student feedback midway through the semester? An Early Course Feedback (ECF) is a great way to hear from students about their learning experience in your course, and can give you valuable feedback in time to make adjustments during the semester! The ECF process involves three parts:
  1. A pre-ECF meeting with a Faculty Developer to discuss your course and any aspects you want feedback on.
  2. An ECF session where a Faculty Developer visits your class for 20-30 minutes to collect student feedback.
  3. A post-ECF meeting to discuss the student feedback and next steps. You will also receive a written report containing the feedback.
Fill out this form to request an ECF for your class, and we will be in touch to schedule the pre-ECF meeting and the ECF session. We can only accommodate a limited number of ECFs each term, so sign up to reserve your spot, and visit trefnycenter.mines.edu to learn more about other ways the Trefny Center can support you!

Do you have a preferred week or a specific date for when we might visit your classroom and conduct the ECF? We recommend that you schedule the ECF near the middle of the semester (or just prior to!) so that you have adequate time to address and incorporate student feedback.  *
