There are few things more exciting you can get as a holiday gift than a new video games, so let's guarantee you get at least one this year for [insert occasion here].
Here's some important information: (All of this will be emailed to you after, don't worry)
- The deadline to sign up for the gift exchange is Nov. 30.
- You'll be contacted by us with your giftee's form responses within a day or two of the sign-up window closing.
- Please do your best to keep all purchases within a $30 price limit. That's enough for a mid-price console game or any number of incredible indie titles across all platforms. As a note: This means you could buy a $29.99 game for someone and end up with a $5 game. Remember, it's all in the spirit of giving.
- If you purchase a physical gift for your giftee: The goal is for all gifts to be delivered by Dec. 25 (Christmas and the second-to-last day of Hanukkah). Please have your gift in the mail no later than Dec. 15. This gives packages plenty of time to still arrive on time even if they somehow are briefly lost.
- If sending a game digitally: Please wait to send your game until Dec. 18, that's the first day of Hanukkah and a week before Christmas for people who want to leave things alone until then.
- DISCLAIMER: Tori and I are removing ourselves from the equation, so there's a good chance you'll be giving a game to someone who you only know anything about from a Google Form.
- AFTER THE GIFT GIVING: You don't have to, but we'd appreciate it if you recorded a brief voice memo thanking whoever gave you your gift and sharing what it is you received. We'll share voice memos we receive on the podcast.
