OUSD has partnered with EPOCH Education to better understand our equity challenges and barriers, as well as how we might work collectively to remove those barriers. After collecting and analyzing data, we are entering into the listening phase and we are seeking your input. We invite community members to select a convenient date and time to participate in these important conversations. The feedback, input, and experiences shared will inform the recommendations of the Equity Audit team, as well as our district's work moving forward. These sessions will be virtual. There will be separate listening circles for OUSD staff and students.


El OUSD se asocia con EPOCH para mejor entender nuestros desafíos en el tema de la equidad y cómo podemos trabajar colectivamente para eliminar las barreras que existen. Después de reunir y analizar datos, ahora nos encontramos en la fase de escuchar. Queremos saber qué piensan ustedes. Invitamos a la comunidad a escoger una fecha conveniente para participar en estas importantes conversaciones. Los comentarios, opiniones y experiencias que expresan en el círculo van a ser tomadas en cuenta por el equipo de auditoría de equidad en sus recomendaciones y afectarán la labor de nuestro distrito en el futuro. Las sesiones son virtuales. Tendrán un intérprete de español. Va a haber círculos de escucha distintos para el personal del OUSD y los estudiantes.
