Lightning Talk Nomination Form

This year, the DMRC Virtual Research Recharge will include trainee presented lightning talks. Lightning talks will consist of 5-10 minute presentations followed by a brief Q&A. We are looking for impactful projects presented in an engaging way.

Please nominate up to two trainees from your lab/research group who have interesting stories related to:

(1) Diabetes co-morbid conditions. Topics include cardiovascular disease, cancer metabolism, and diabetic complications.

(2) Signals, Sensing and Sugar. Topics include regulators of obesity including adipogenesis, glucose control, and appetite.

(3) Time, Diet, and Sleep. Topics include circadian rhythms, dietary patterns, and physical activity.

(4) Diabetic Progression: Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. Topics include the etiology and prevention of type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
