Personal Computer Wifi Access Form
Fill out this form if you will be using a personal computer instead of a school issued Chromebook when you return to school.
Concord High School as one of the Cabarrus County Schools provides access to network resources for student educational purposes. This purpose and the privilege to use the district network resources at concord High Scholl is governed by Cabarrus County Schools Board Policy 3225/4312/7320. Additionally, policy 4318 limits the use of student electronic devices and provides schools the authority to prohibit student use devices during the instructional day and impose consequences for violations.
As such, Concord High School will allow students to use personal laptops and tablet devices on the school wireless network provided the student will:
1) abide by the conditions of board policy 3225/4312/7320
2) not share their access or username/password combination with others
3) not use their access on multiple devices at once
4) not use their access on phone size devices (smart phones, cell phones etc. with screens less than 8” diagonal measure)
5) not have any device in their possession using network connection sharing or other method of providing network or wireless connections to other devices (sometimes referred to as mobile hotspot) while on school premises.
You access the WiFi on campus by:
1. Connect to the "ccs-registered" network.
2. Login with the same username and password you use to log into Chromebooks or other school resources. Your password is your student ID#
CHS does monitor WiFi connections.
