Rushford-Peterson Schools Chromebook Lease Agreement
This agreement is a binding agreement to lease a Chromebook from R-P Schools for the 2024-25 school year, beginning on or around September 3, 2024 and ending on or before June 4, 2025. The district-owned equipment is being leased in good working order for the amount of $75 per device per student for the 2024-25 school year. Equipment may show blemishes, cosmetic issues, or missing plastic pieces, but that will not affect the operation of the leased device. Equipment, including Chromebook and its charger, is to be returned at the end of the school year in working order to qualify for leasing for the next year. Normal wear and tear is expected, with other damages to be reported as soon as possible to the Technology Director. One repair (typically screen or keyboard) is covered under the lease fee, and all subsequent repairs are the responsibility of the lessee. All repairs to leased Chromebooks will be done through R-P Schools. Total equipment failure that is not the fault of the lessee will be addressed on a case by case basis. Lessee agrees to use the equipment with care, reporting any and all damages as soon as they are discovered to the Technology Director.
Families that choose to lease a device through the school will be assessed the fee through JMC after the completed lease form has been received. Watch your JMC account for the fee to be assessed and payment can then be made through JMC, OR in person at open house to Mr. Mattson in the library with cash or check.
