2022 Youth for Environmental Action Summit Registration
Purpose: The purpose of the Youth Environmental Leadership Group is to increase and connect youth and community efforts focused on environmental sustainability and implementation of local solutions.

Audiences: High school students from Santa Cruz County public high schools and their teachers; decision-makers from city and county government; environmental scientists and community-based environmental organizations, and education system leaders.

Registration will be limited to 140 Student participants, 20 teachers/chaperones, 20 student leaders, 20 student leader guests, 50 Community members. We are committed to having representation from high schools across Santa Cruz County. Teachers or environmental club advisors will register a student team for their high school. To ensure spaces for all high schools, team size will be limited. More information will be provided when registration is confirmed. COMMUNITY PARTICIPTANTS WILL ATTEND BY INVITATION ONLY

How many students would you like to register for the Santa Cruz County Environmental Action Summit (Maximum size of student teams is 15 students for schools with over 600 students and 5 for smaller schools). *

I understand that if I am planning on asking the COE to pay for transportation, the district is responsible for making these arrangements and obtaining approval from Rebecca Olker, rolker@santacruzcoe.org. We are currently only able to pay for school buses. Please contact Celeste Guiterrez, 831-466-5713, for more information. *
I understand that the school is responsible for securing a substitute for the chaperone teacher. *
