Fraser Valley Arts and the Colorado Headwaters Land Trust (CHLT) are pleased to host a Plein Air Festival Tuesday, September 7 through Sunday, September 12, 2021. Plein Air@Altitude 2021 will highlight a selection of noteworthy Colorado Headwaters Land Trust easements as well as showcasing Grand County natural and historical attractions. Community events are also planned, including:
- Evening artist gatherings
- Reception and Open House Friday Evening at the Winter Park/Fraser Chamber of Commerce
- A Plein Air Art Festival throughout the day on Saturday, September 11
- Award winning painting to be sold at CHLT Live Auction
- We are thrilled to have Pem Dunn serve as our Featured Artist Judge. A selection of Pem's paintings will be featured at the Friday and Saturday events.
Proceeds from paintings sold during Plein Air @ Altitude will be split between Artists (60%) and the Fraser Valley Arts and Colorado Headwaters Land Trust non-profit organizations (40%).

Rules:
* Open to artists 18 and over.
* Applicants will be accepted subject to jury based on works submitted.
* Canvasses will be stamped with an approved insignia.
* No studio artwork is permitted. All artwork must be completed within Grand County.
* We would like Artists to attend the public events, especially on Friday and Saturday evening; it will be great fun and a good opportunity to interact with our community and potential buyers of your art.
