Apply by December 13!

The OCELOTS network (Online Content for Experiential Learning of Tropical Systems) (https://qubeshub.org/community/groups/ocelots) is joining forces with QUBES (http://qubeshub.org) to work with faculty who are interested in implementing and perhaps adapting selected online modules in tropical biology for undergraduate learning. Participating educators are encouraged to mix and match parts of modules and customize them for use in their classrooms. For more information on the selected modules, visit https://qubeshub.org/community/groups/ocelotsfmn24/selected_modules

Commitment and Benefits of Participation:
To qualify, participants must be willing to incorporate the selected materials into at least two class periods (or equivalent) in their teaching during the Spring 2024 semester. Participants must also be able to commit ~1.5-2 hour per week for working with mentors and collaborating with other participants around the customization and implementation of the teaching materials. Additional time outside of these discussions may be required for independent work on adapting and reviewing modules.
**Access to teaching modules. Participants will incorporate parts of at least one of the selected modules in Spring 2024 classes
**Online support throughout the process of implementing new materials in your course.  Access to peer mentors on lecture/classroom/lab effective tips and strategies in small group virtual meetings every two weeks
**Possible travel/registration support to attend the Ecological Society of America Annual Meeting in Long Beach CA: https://www.esa.org/longbeach2024/
**A payment of $500 for eligible participants
