Registration Form
CMS3 (https://cms3.tamu.edu/) is aimed at graduate students, postdocs and junior scientists and engineers in academia, national laboratories and industry who would like to learn more about state-of-the-art techniques in computational materials science. Topics included are: thermodynamics and kinetics of microstructures, micromechanics of plasticity, fracture and phase transformations, mesoscale modeling methods (phase field, dislocation dynamics), atomistic simulations (molecular dynamics, electronic structure calculations) and elements of integrated computer-aided materials design and materials informatics.

Note: Selected students are required to fully participate in both theoretical and practical components of the school. No certificate of attendance will be granted unless students fully participate in the school.

For remote participation, good internet connection is required.

At the end of this form you will be asked to upload a single document with the following items (please prepare them in advance):

i)       2 Page Biographical Sketch
ii).     1 Page Application where you explain why you want to enroll in the school
iii).    1 Letter of recommendation (1 page maximum) from your advisor/supervisor. This letter should explicitly state that they approve of your participation in the school.
