We have adopted the students at the McMillan UMC site in Fort Worth for the week of July 15-18. This means that we will take care of the needs at the site and in supporting the interns that week. The following are the areas we will need volunteer help with:

1. Reading volunteers 
We will need 8-10 consistent volunteers to read with the kiddos from 10-noon each day. On Monday morning, there will be a training at 9:30. These volunteers must have completed the Ministry Safe training and be at least 13 years old. We will meet at the church 30 minutes before our scheduled time of arrival, and drive together in the church bus.

2. Helping with End-of-Summer Celebration
Helping with the End-of-Summer Celebration means helping with food, being at the celebration as hospitality, and helping an any other ways the host church needs. This is a party on the evening of the final day of our week, Thursday, July 18, and is for the children, their families, host and partner churches (that's us!), and the Project Transformation interns and staff-- everyone involved in Project Transformation at McMillan UMC.

3. Dinners for staff/interns
Dinner is needed for the evenings of July 14-17, for 15-18 people. We are encouraged to stay and eat with the staff/interns. Dinners will need to be delivered to Grace Metroplex UMC in Fort Worth (on Texas Wesleyan campus) by 5:30 each evening.
