There are a variety of volunteer opportunities through the JCRVI throughout the year, and especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Through the JCRVI, volunteers have delivered meals to hospitals so healthcare workers have dinner to take home after an exhausting shift, cleared debris from homes hit by natural disasters, and answered calls through our helpline. The JCRVI is here to connect those who wish to do good with those who could use the help.

The JCRVI currently has two active programs seeking volunteers through our Nourish Initiative. Nourish is the Jewish Federation's community service movement, focused primarily on addressing hunger and poverty in the region. Please select which program you are interested in and we will follow up with more information.

Nourish in partnership with Community Table: assemble hot meals on one day and/or distribute meals to those in need the next day.

Take Home Hospital Meal Delivery Program: pickup meals from local kosher caterers to deliver to hospitals for healthcare staff to take home.
