Volunteer Leader Application - Next Gen Ministries
THANK YOU...
Thank you for beginning to pray and think about getting involved in Next Gen Ministries. We define Next Gen Ministries as Purpose Kids (birth-5th grade) and Student Ministries (6th-12th grade). We recognize this is a huge commitment and calling. Our desire is to recruit and develop the best volunteer leaders on the planet to lead the best kids and students on the planet (we may be a little biased). We believe they are the current and future leaders of the church and our world. We are all about connecting kids and students with amazing volunteers who believe the best way to influence the next generation is through building relationships with them.

THE COMMITMENT...

Purpose Kids (nursery-5th grade) leaders commit to:
- 2 hours per week on Sunday mornings (10am or 11:30am services). Our desire is that you would learn to champion the age group you work with so that you can, over time, become a specialist in that area. A specialist is a person who has served in a particular age group long enough to understand the developmental needs of children.
- Awana leaders serve on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30pm for an entire school year (9 months).

Junior High Ministry (6th-8th grade) leaders commit to:
- Three years of leading the same life group of students your same gender, walking with them through their years in the program.
- Leading on Wednesday nights (6:30-8:30pm) and Sunday mornings (10:00am), & attending 11:30am service in Student Section/serving.

High School Ministry (9th-12th grade) leaders commit to:
- Four years of leading the same life group of students your same gender, walking with them through their high school years.
- Leading on Wednesday nights (6:30-8:30pm).

All Next Gen leaders commit to:
- Following Jesus with every part of their lives and have a desire to serve Him.
- Attending a Pomona campus worship service on Sundays (8:30am, 10:00am, or 11:30am).
- Participating in all leader meetings for training and connecting with other leaders.
- Leading at camps, retreats, missions trips, and events as often as possible.
