When an automatic negative thought pattern fires off (THE ANTS) we have 2 options, allow them to run our life (affecting how we are feeling, our energy, our health, our motivation, our relationships) or shout STOP ANTS! Stop, Take a pause, Observe something, Proceed. This creates some space between you and the loop and gives you time to flip it. As if it the thought were a card and you are saying TWIST asking for a new card! Or like a revolving door, we notice the negative thought swing round and we keep the doors moving, taking the thought with them. We don't stop the doors until a new and empowering thought emerges.
