Neighbourhood Revitalization Small Sparks Application Form - 2021
OVERVIEW
Small Sparks grants provide funding up to $350 for Revitalization resident ideas which advance the goals of the Neighbourhood Revitalization Strategy in one of the areas.

Small Sparks grants support neighbourhood initiatives that enhance resident contributions by way of sharing and expressing natural gifts or talents; supporting neighbourhood capacity efforts; and collaborate with business and economic endeavours.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS: Residents, organizations and businesses living and/or operating within one of the designated Neighbourhood Revitalization Program Area(s).

ELIGIBLE PROJECTS: Any project, activity, event or initiative that advances at least one of the goals or objectives described in the area's Revitalization Strategy.  Applicants can apply for only one City of Edmonton grant for a particular project or initiative.

***Note: events that include alcohol and/or are for the purpose of for-profit business are not eligible.***  

DEADLINES: Please submit applications a minimum of four weeks prior to the date when funds are needed to allow time for review and the release of funds.

TIME FRAME: Projects or initiatives are to be completed within 8 weeks of receiving approval.

FUNDING: Funds will be issued to the applicant once the application has been received, reviewed, and approved. This process may take between 4-6 weeks.

REPORTING: A follow-up event summary as well as photograph (if applicable) is requested to be shared with your Neighbourhood Revitalization Coordinator within four weeks of the completion of your event
