University Community Engagement: A Dialogue Amongst Penn Students Involved in Community Work
Description: All Penn students involved in community work are welcomed to join student leaders in a reflective dialogue surrounding university community engagement.
Students will discuss the role of community engagement in the university and the relationships between all aspects of the university and the West Philadelphia/Philadelphia community.

Goals of this Dialogue:
Participants will be able to...
- reflect on the purposes behind the university and how it is tied to the West Philadelphia/Philadelphia area.
- connect with other students involved in the community, talk about their different work, and reflect on different community engagement methods being used across campus.
- reflect on their own work and how it relates to Penn as a whole.
- reflect on their role in the Penn and West Philadelphia community and their relationship with identifying themselves as related to those two communities.
- discuss future steps in increasing collective agency among engaged students to strengthen Penn-West Philadelphia/Philadelphia relationships.

Logistics of Event:
When: Tuesday 4/19; 6:00PM - 7:30PM
Where: Irvine Auditorium Cafe 58
