1. First step is to register via this form so that your name and address can be added to the list of participants.

If you decide to participate, you will be able to sign up for various card exchanges throughout the year in the Nicole Nation Facebook group. The goal is to do 3 - 4 card exchanges per year.
You will need to provide your mailing address, but it will not be shared with anyone outside of this card exchange or for any other purposes.
Your mailing address will not be used by Nicole Edwards for anything other than what is outlined in this exchange.
By signing up, you are agreeing to allow your name and address to be given to someone from the Nicole Nation Facebook group for them to send you a greeting card via the postal service. In return, you will send a card from someone else in the group.
THIS IS FOR A GREETING CARD EXCHANGE ONLY!! NO GIFTS!!

2. The next step is to "sign up" on the Sign Up Post in Nicole Nation on Facebook.

If you have not joined Nicole Nation on Facebook, you will need to in order to see the posts for the sign up. Join here!
You will be required to "sign up" by commenting on the Sign Up post during the signup window. We do not want to assume that you are able to send a card anytime an exchange arises. This will allow you to control when you do and do not participate.
When you comment on the signup post, you will select whether you would like to send a card to an individual or to a group.
If you sign up for an individual exchange, your mailing address will be given to an individual, so you will receive 1 card.
If you sign up for the group exchange, your mailing address will be given to those who've also signed up for the group, so you should receive cards from all members in the group.
By signing up, you will be responsible for paying for the postage of the card(s) you are sending. Be mindful of the cost when you are choosing to do a group exchange. Our members span the globe, so there is a good chance you will be sending a card (or multiple) internationally. The current cost of a USPS first class stamp is $0.63. A USPS first class international stamp is $1.45. International cost of postage to the U.S. will vary depending on country.
Note: Nicole will also be participating in the exchange. She will send a card to every person who signs up for the exchange (individual and group). 3. You will receive the name and address of the recipient you were randomly assigned via email.

The email you receive will come directly from Nicole@NicoleEdwards.me so be sure to add Nicole's email address to your contact list to ensure you don't miss it.
If you signed up for an individual exchange, you will receive one name/address to send a card to.
If you signed up for the group exchange, you will receive a list of the names/addresses for the group.
Nicole will post in the Nicole Nation Facebook group when the information has been sent. If you did not receive your email, be sure to check your junk/spam folder. And feel free to email Nicole if you didn't.

4. Mail your card(s).

Your card can be store bought or handmade, that is completely up to you. It's about brightening someone's day, and how you choose to do that is up to you.
Do not solicit - this is for fun and is meant to cheer up the person you are sending to, so please do not include business cards, flyers, or any other advertisements for your business.
The average mailing time for first class mail through the USPS within the United States is 1 - 5 days, longer during the holiday season.
The average mailing time for first class mail through USPS to another country is 7 - 21 days, longer during the holiday season.
If you signed up for an exchange and you did not send a card, you will no longer be eligible to participate.
If something comes up that keeps you from sending, please contact Nicole via email at Nicole@NicoleEdwards.me - this will allow Nicole to notify the intended recipient that there was a problem. Sometimes the best of intentions goes awry, so it's understandable that something might come up. We only ask that you notify Nicole if there is a problem.

5. Receive your card(s).

If you did not receive a card within 3 weeks after the mailing deadline, please send an email to Nicole@NicoleEdwards.me to let Nicole know. Please wait the full 3 weeks to allow for enough time. Also note, if your card is coming from an international participant, it may take a little longer to arrive.
