“Take Our Kids to Work Day” will be observed on Thursday, April 25, 2024. The New Jersey Department of Education has chosen this day to allow parents/guardians to take their sons and daughters to work in order to promote career education.

We ask that you start planning now if you intend to participate on April 25th.

For attendance purposes, students who participate in “Take Our Kids to Work Day” will not be marked absent if the permission slip below is received in the school office by Tuesday, April 23rd. Any absent student on April 25th who has not submitted the completed permission slip below will be marked as an unexcused absence for this day.

Participation in “Take Our Kids to Work Day” is for the FULL DAY - no half or partial day absences will be considered for this purpose.

Due to the large volume of participation, no telephone calls/messages will be accepted for the purpose of reporting students out of school for “Take Our Kids to Work Day”. Parents will still receive the standard automated absence call.
