Late diagnosis in women
Hi, I'm a social scientist, my research focus is late diagnosis in women, I was invited to speak at a medical conference here in Brazil and I'm preparing the class.
I based the main topics on my research and experience, but I feel I could add more. I am addressing stereotypes, ableism, associated traumas, gender issues, difficulty in diagnosis, lack of support and resources in society in general, the idea is to speak directly to doctors about our experience with a scientific basis. Is there a topic that you consider important to cover?
