These workshops will all be done over Zoom or Google Meet and a link will be sent out to all participants closer to the date of the workshop. There is no fee to participate in any workshop. Sounding Bodies: An Exploration of Creative
Sound and Movement with Edie Skeard.
September 15th, 2022. 6pm–8pm.
This FREE ONLINE workshop centres on
the body as a point of performance through technology. We will explore several
apps that can facilitate artistic expression, allowing all participants to
explore their creative practices. From AUMI to Adobe, this workshop will explore
video, sound, photography, and social media as tools for sharing and creating
artwork.
Participants should be prepared to
collaborate with one another and they will need to have access to a tablet or
cellphone.

A.I. and Your Eyes with Tal Marsolais and Dr. Yifan Wang.

Intro to using free text-to-image
generators as artistic collaborators. This free
online workshop will give a basic overview of how text-to-image generation
works, and how to use free AI tools as a collaborator in your visual art
practice. All you need is an internet connection, your imagination, and
whatever complimentary creative tools (digital or physical) that you want to
bring!
