BEC Chicago Call for Presentations (2023-24)

Dear Members & Friends of the BEC Chicago,

The BEC Chicago Board is pleased to announce a call for education program proposals to enhance our 2023-2024 events calendar.

BEC Chicago is a community of people within the construction industry with interest and expertise in the design and construction of building enclosures. As a group, we are committed to the ongoing education and improvement of knowledge within the building enclosure community. Our goal is to improve the design and construction of buildings in our region by promoting approaches to enclosure design that are reliable, durable, constructible, and cost-effective.

Completed programs are submitted through the portal below, including a description of the discussion topic and information about the speaker. Sessions submitted through the Call for Presentations will supplement the custom programs developed by the BEC Chicago Board.

Proposals will be reviewed by the BEC Chicago Board. If your program is selected, we will work with your team to find a suitable date for the event to be held online or in person. At this time, all education submissions are being evaluated for virtual presentations, but we hope to return to hybrid and/or in-person events soon.

Please note - while all presentation ideas will be reviewed, the BEC encourages presentations from impartial parties. If there are presentations from industry representatives or product suppliers, we encourage submission of learning programs that are not intended as sales proposals.
