Soliciting Nominations:  Please Help Us Celebrate the Outstanding Children In Our Community!

Every year, Berkley/Huntington Woods Youth Assistance honors students from our community who have proven to be outstanding citizens. We are looking for students in grades K through 12 within the Berkley School District who have demonstrated extraordinary citizenship, volunteerism, responsibility, and a general concern for the welfare of others. Students often receive recognition for academic and athletic achievements; however, we want to honor those students who have given freely of their time and energy to help make our community a better place to live.

The Youth Assistance Board of Directors recognizes that there are many groups in the schools which contribute to the community; however, to be able to continue our Youth Recognition Program, we must limit recipients to individuals. If you know an individual student who meets the above criteria, please complete this form by Monday, March 23, 2020.

Please note: In order to maintain the integrity of the award, we request that students who have been recognized in previous years not be included again.

Please share this form freely. We do request that all nominations remain confidential until the applicants have been notified. As a nominator, you will be invited to share in the celebration at a ceremony on April 27, 2020 in the Berkley High School Collaborative Center.
