C-TEC Manufacturing/Industrial Skilled Trades Scholarship Program M.I.S.T.
The C-TEC Manufacturing/Industrial Skilled Trades Scholarship of up to $5,000.00 may be awarded to students enrolled or planning to enroll in MULTICRAFT MAINTENANCE, ADVANCED CNC MACHINING & ROBOTICS INTEGRATION, or STRUCTURAL & PIPE WELDING/FABRICATION. This scholarship is awarded through the Licking County Foundation. When awarded by the Licking County Foundation and received by C-TEC, the scholarship will be applied to direct costs for schooling (tuition, books, supplies, credentialing cost, and WorkKeys tests when paid for in advance by the student). This scholarship is a last dollar scholarship, meaning that it will be awarded and applied after other funding options and only to any remaining costs not paid for by other funding. A student does not need to be receiving Pell Grant dollars in order to be awarded this scholarship, however, when a student is Pell eligible, the Pell will be applied to costs before scholarship funding. Scholarship availability is based on moneys available in scholarship fund. If you apply, you will be notified if no money remains in the fund, or you can contact C-TEC’s Financial Aid Counselor at 740-364-2359 to check on availability. Incomplete submissions may be subject to immediate disqualification.

All C-TEC scholarship awards are applied directly to the recipient’s C-TEC student account.  Scholarship recipients are responsible for any tax liabilities that may apply.  Scholarships will only be applied to costs for one of the three programs eligible (Multicraft Maintenance, Advanced CNC Machining & Robotics Integration, or Structural & Pipe Welding/Fabrication).  If a recipient withdraws prior to completing the program, the scholarship is subject to C-TEC’s refund policy and any unearned portion of the scholarship will be returned to the scholarship fund and will not be available for student refunds.
