Membership agreement: Upon sign-up, a member must pay a joining fee, and a pro rata rate for the first month joined. Thereafter, monthly fees are due in advance on the 1st day of each calendar month, with automatic renewal, unless stated otherwise. To suspend your membership, please email info@capetownswim.com by no later than the 20th day of the month prior to suspension.
Courses and individual sessions: Fees are due on the first day of the course or session. Please note that cancellation within 24 hours of the session will be charged for in full.
Payment methods: EFT or cash is accepted. Regret no card facilities available.
Group exercise: We follow an ethos of safety, teamwork and mutual respect. Please be aware that you are required to remain with the group at all times, or buddy up when advised to do so by the group leader.
Session changes: Due the the unpredictable nature of weather and ocean conditions, session times and locations may be changed. If an alternative plan fails, either due to weather or lack of participants, the session may be cancelled. Members will be notified via Whatsapp should any changes occur (or email by request).
Access to private areas and events: Entrance fees to facilities (such as nature parks and swimming pools) and entrance fees for events are at the member's expense.
Safety and risk: Safety is our number one priority, and the highest level of care and professional guidance will be offered at all times. However, as with any physical activity, inherent risks are involved.
By completing this form, you declare that the information provided in this form is true to the best of your knowledge, that you are participating in this exercise programme voluntarily and will not hold Cape Town Open Water Swim Co. or any associated parties liable for any injury, damages or loss which may arise from participation in Cape Town Open Water Swim Co. activities or as a result of following online guidance or advice.
