Speaker Request: Julie Zauzmer Weil on Database of Members of Congress Who Enslaved People
Julie Zauzmer Weil is a lead researcher for the Washington Post database, released in January of 2022, that lists more than 1,700 people who served in the U.S. Congress in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries who enslaved people at some point in their lives.

Weil is offering to speak with high school and higher education classes about this research.
